The AVG Internet Security/AntiVirus Free protects your PC by its high security, it will not directly allow any unwanted connections or malicious files to access your PC. Instead it will pop-up a threat notification and quarantine.
Please open the threat notification which you received from AVG, click on the more details, and take the screenshot of the threat pop-up, then post the screenshot to this post, we shall check with the screenshot and proceed further.

Also, let us know whether you've recently transferred any files to your Pc, or downloaded any files from online.

The AVG file shield alert keeps appearing despite disabling notifications. Even after shutting down AVG, the notifications persist. I can't find files like f432c.pdf or f432d.pdf in the indicated location where the pop-up claims they are. The notification appears every 3-5 minutes and won't cease. Assistance, please?
