Thank you.
Im having the same issuel. If you accidentally block an application, how do you unblock it?
I just ran a repair, did nothing.
Same issue as Dimitris. Yes I've un/reinstalled. I've check the sharing is on, checked updates, checked folders are shared in options, checked the cat for any clues. So it's safe to say it's the update you pushed out.
Let's cut through the regulated answers. If you can't tell me why your program is causing a conflict, then have someone who coded it answer us. We're all IT here. Give us a fix not a whitewash. Thank you.
I have gone through all the suggestions, both here and on the "guru" sites, and nothing is working. I have three computers. All can access the internet but can't access each other. If I turn AVG firewall off then everything is fine.
I need to get back to work. I'm going to use Windows firewall until this gets resolved.
A problem I cannot seem to fix, since you removed the Firewall Application Rule. Why on earth would you remove the advanced settings and mess things up like that?
If I do not fix this in the next few days, I will ask for a refund. Any help would be appreciated.
I understand this must be upsetting. Open AVG Internet Security -> Click on "Menu" in the top right corner -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize -> Network Profiles -> Change the networks from "Public" to "Private" to check if that resolve your issue.

Hello Chris,
I am sorry to hear that the issue persists. Have you changed this system rules from firewall settings in your computer? In the System Rule, you can see an option "Allow remote desktop connections to this computer". You need to enable this option, to allow remote connection to the computer you are using.

Open AVG Internet Security -> Click on "Menu" in the top right corner -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize ->Policies->System Rules.
From here you can see some of the options selected as "Not Configured". Please change it to enable and check if that fix the issue.
Alex,
Sorry to hear about that. Please follow the steps in this article https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields&q=exclude to exclude a file or folder from AVG scanning.

I am experiencing the EXACT same problems as the other customers on this thread. ALL the settings are as recommended by AVG support, however, NONE OF IT WORKS.
Did I just waste my subscription money? Please say it isn't so…
