Good Afternoon Avinash,
First I apologise, for what may seem to be a late response; I tried sending you a reply directly from my email account, and I a realise that it had not gone through a day after. Now to respond in kind to your last suggestion, I performed the task you gave me, and I still can not get access to my web host's FTP — what should I do now at this point, as I feel my only resolve may be the uninstalling and then reinstalling of AVG Security Services until I can complete the task. Thank You for your prompt responses, I am happy with your response time.
Sincerely
Roosevelt
Hi Vishnu, I did that on the very first day, in fact I added the proram folder where the (.exe) file for Filezilla is located as well as the path \User\Users\AppData\local\filezilla\ , in the Application data section for windos 8.1.I even did the same thing in the windows firewall. There has to be a way to add provisions\support, for FTP's.
Thank You Balasubramanian,
It was not AVG Firewall that was causing the problem, I contacted my webhosting Service provider with all the specifics of the problem and they instructed me on what was needed to be done, I did what I was asked to do; and that solved my dilemma. Thank you again for your thorough and prompt response and technical support. GREAT JOB GUYS!!
Sincerely
Roosevelt
That's great to hear! Thank you so much.
Please feel free to contact us in future for any queries.
Good Afternoon All,
Currently I am attempting to use, "Filezilla FTP Client ", Which I have recently downloaded these past 5 days now, I cannot get it to connect with my webhost's FTP Server, I have already connected my laptop directly to the modem with an Ethernet Cable, still it will not connect to the FTP Server, I also tried using an online FTP tester, and it still would not allow me to connect. Filezilla FTP Client Software has a Network Connection Wizard, I ran it and followed the guide according to the documentation supplied for it, and other online forums, still no success. Also, I have disabled the Web Shield for AVG, which also controls the Windows 8.1 Firewall, I even creatd rules and new zones for the app itself, yet still to no avail, I cannot connect to my FTP, I am contemplating un-installing AVG altogether, and then attempt to run the ftp client on my computer, with the intent on reinstalling AVG after successful completion of the transaction, I don't want to have to do this, PLEASE ADVISE, as I think the problem is with AVG Web Protection!
P.S. I am using Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo Flex 2-15 Laptop, all windows updates are installed, FileZilla Client FTP is also up to date.
Thanks
Roosevelt

Please do not apologize for this, Roosevelt.
We appreciate your efforts.
It looks like AVG Firewall isn't causing the issue.
Could you disable the other components of AVG Internet Security and confirm which one is causing the issue?

Roosevelt, we'd request to disable AVG firewall temporarily and check if that resolves the issue. Open AVG, click Menu > Settings > Components > Firewall and use the On/Off slider to disable it.
