AVG firewall blocks QfinderPro

Hi Alan,
Apologies for this but I also have had issues with QFinderPro interecting with the AVG Firewall.  One of your people setup a support to "chat"with me but all they did was get me to do what i had already done and it still doesn't work.  In my circumstance, I am running Win 7 and I am running with AVG Zen.  Like the others I have found when I disabled my AVG firewall, I can successfully operate QFinderPro without any difficulty at all.
Yes its listed in the exceptions list along with the other EXE files in applicable folder (as requested by the support person) but that action doesn't resolve the issue.

Given that I am not the first, one would tend to hope that there is a file recorded on actions undertaken to devise a fix for this problem so the wheel doesn't have to be re-invented when someone else crops up with this issue.  I was fan of AVG until this episode and unforunately given my experience with your support team, I have been left with a somewhat bitter taste.  I would appreciate being able to resolve this over a call rather than via chat as writing style nuance can lead to cross-cultural misunderstandings and that's in no-one's best interest.

Robert, In future please refrain from carrying out multiple topic postings on the same subject! You won't obtain an answer to your query any faster!. Also please try to keep the whole conversation in one question/thread to speed up any resolution. Please see your other posting (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000Dd36AAC).
If you think the repeat posting is an AVG Community support issue please leave feedback on this AVG webpage (link removed).

For quite some time now, I am unable to access my Qnap Nas through QfinderPro. Switching off AVG's firewall solves this issue.
- Paid version of AVG
- Windows 10
- QfinderPro has been added to the firewall's whitelist.

Due to the amount of similar complaints found on the internet (and this forum), I trust a working  solution has been found by now.

Looking forward to receiving your fix for this issue on a short notice.
