AVG Firewall Option: Block Internet Access

I have sent you an email to collect error logs from your computer, please follow the same and send us the output. Also provide us the name of the executable file for which the rule in question was created.

Hello Jc,

No, the option that you had on older version is still present in the current 2017 version of AVG.
To allow or block internet access for any application, please follow below mentioned instructions:
1) Please open the AVG Internet Security dashboard, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components"
2) Scroll down to "Firewall", to the right of customize option you will have a "Downward arrow mark", please click on it.
3) You will find "Application Rules", please click on it and go ahead in creating new rule by adding the application to block or allow internet access.

Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.

Before new update, internet access can be blocked easily without affecting other services.
Is this option removed from the new release?
Your pointer please.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I managed to sorted out with below setting for that application in Firewall:
Friends in/out
Allow outbound and inbound access to Frinds
For all other connections: Block

Firewall setting1

Jc,
When you add an application to AVG Firewall's black list, it will be denied accessing internet and also blocks other files which are associated with that blocked application.
