How can I access the AVG firewall application rules window directly? this was possible in the previous version of the firewall and it was even asking me before allowing an application to access the internet. Now the firewall goes ahead and creates rules of its own. How can I prevent it?

Hello Kevin,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. But the latest version of AVG Ultimate contains packet rules option which is same as the application rules that was available in previous versions. So please use this article to get the instructions to add or remove applications to firewall http://avgread.me/2mzhZ48 .
Thank you.

That screen seems to be a little confusing with regard to the details i would have to enter.
However, i am primarily trying to access the attached screen directly where I can set the application rule myself. Currently, I am able to acess it only when a rule is automatically set and I click the override link.

I do not see the 'application Rules' option under policies. i only see system and packet rules, which i do not want to touch since i am not very much aware of the same and it might hamper my connectivity.
