AVG for Windows WebShield / HTTPS scanning disables stripe.com in Chrome

Firstly, could you let us know if you're experiencing this issue in Google Chrome browser alone or in other web browsers as well?
Secondly, do you have any other antivirus software installed in your computer than AVG Antivirus Free?
Thirdly, please repair your AVG Antivirus Free as mentioned in this article, restart your computer once & check if the issue persists.
Keep us updated.

It would be really nice to get this looked at.  It's breaking our site and probably a lot of others.

Hi,

To recreate this issue, toggle Enable HTTPS Scanning on / off and test www.stripe.com.
ON - Site throws HTTPS error
OFF - Site works fine

Can you bring me into further discussion? Cearly some financial websites are changing HTTPS security rules. I'd like to know if AVG will be writing a patch.

What's noteworthy is that no other website besides stripe.com was affected. I checked many.
