Hi, a month ago I installed AVG free into my win7x64 8Gb 3GHz dualcore, on SSD fast snd good mobo.
I am ddevelopng heavy software, visual studio, Etc.
All of a sudden the PC freezes, I manage to open process explorer, and see 50% cpu usage by system, and other 50% used by a AVG subprocess, strange… after 5 minutes it simply went to zero usage…
The explorer could not kill the AVG nor reveal if it was using I/O, but the disk activity was practically zero. Strangely the color of the usage was red, not green, stating internal usage of memory/cpu.
The machIne doe not have a bug, I gues, wwe do not Iinstall foreign software nor suspicious stuff.
after resetting, all goes to normal, until I launch a web test site in VS2010 and start debugging.
Then, again the cpu goes to h**l 100% and the machine goes sluggish!
any clue?
