AVG free antivirus for Mac will not update, is behind security appliance

Where would you like me to post the logfiles  (175MB)?
I will probably post on 1/1/2017, because I am not getting an error message right now that I can take a screenshot of.  The reason for this is that I had turned off AMP in the meraki security appliance to get AVG to finish the update for today.  Once AVG has updated for the day ( a "large" update), any small updates work fine, even with AMP turned back on in the meraki.  But tomorrow, I anticipate that AVG will have a larger update that will cause the error.  Usually what happens is that AVG will connect fine, download most of the update, then hang, then quit with the error, until I turn AMP off again.

Hello Michael,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
May I know the version of Mac?
Also please try reinstalling AVG Free Antivirus once and check whether the issue persists.

Happy to report that AVG is STILL updating successfully!   I am not sure what caused the change, but I'm delighted!  Thank you for your help and rapid responses!

Endpoint is behind Meraki Security appliance that has AMP for detecting malware.  Endpoint won't update Antivirus.  What update servers must one add to Meraki whitelist so that AMP will not scan?

Hi Balasubramanian,
The Mac is a MacBook Pro, running Sierra, 10.12.2.
I had already tried reinstalling three times.   Each time, the program works fine if the Meraki AMP is turned off, hence, it is not an installation issue.  AVG works well as a matter of fact.  However, if AMP (advanced malware protection) is turned on in the security appliance as a way to protect the entire network, AVG will not update.  Because the Meraki security appliance can whitelist URL's, it can be told NOT to scan the update servers for AVG, but I need to know what those servers are by URL.  I had successfully done so for the Sophos Antivirus program, but decided to switch to AVG.
