AVG free antivirus uninstallation problem

Thank you Ranjani (Customer support) for your prompt response to my problem on 24 April 2017
 
I have done all that u have instructed. However there is still a file that cannot be deleted as follows;
when typed 'Temp' , %temp%, %appdata% and % programdata% in Run window :  there is one  _avg_ file folder that cannot be removed. It says " The action can't be completed because the folder is open in another program. Close the folder and try again"
                
I don't know what the other program it is referring to. Also in the Task Manager , I can still see the avguix.exe running (under processes).Need your further assistance. Thank you .   (By the way, my PC  is  running Windows Vista)

We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. We suggest you to run AVG Clear tool and AVG Remover tool to remove all the traces of AVG from your computer.
Please follow the below instructions to run AVG Clear tool :
1 Use the link https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe to run the AVG Clear tool.
2 Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
3 Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
4 Select the installed version of AVG, click Uninstall, then click Restart computer.  (1/2)

Please run the AVG Remover tool by using the below instructions.
1 Download the AVG remover tool please click on this link:
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2 Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3 Your computer will be restarted automatically.
After reboot, Open C drive and look for folder "AVG Remover" and delete it manually, also delete "AVG" folder in "Program files (x86)" in C Drive.
If it doesn't work, please reboot your computer in Safe mode and try to run AVG Clear and AVG Remover tool. It would remove all the AVG traces. Please, feel free to let us know if you require any further assistance. (2/2)
