I have a new HP and I cannot download the free version. The error code 0xC0070643 keeps coming up. Any ideas?

Jason, Whichever AV it was did you download & run their appropriate total removal tool?.

I removed it in order to install AVG

Jason, New computers often come with an anti-virus prog already installed. Have you checked this out?.
