Certi,
We appreciate your efforts, we apologize for the difficulties. We are unable to view that link attached. Could you please provide us with the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the exact message you are getting?
We would suggest you to reboot your device in safe mode http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode and then use our AVG remover tool to uninstall your AVG programs.
Refer this article to uninstall http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV your AVG program.
Kindly download your AVG remover and run it, then go to C: -> AVG Remover -> Bin -> pctremover.exe and avgfmwremover.exe (do not restart your device if prompted), then run avgremover.exe (it will automatically reboot your device).
Then please remove the AVG folders manually as suggested below. Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.
I use AVG so many years ago and now I had my first problem which seems too much for me. I'm not an expert but I can do a lot of things, so I will write down everything as it happened. :)
I had the e-mail scanner is not working issue and tried to solve it with reinstall. I removed everything even from registry and reinstalled the product. I downloaded the free version from avg.com (AVG_Protection_Free_1606.exe) and I had only Internet Security able to install. So ok why not I installed it. I used it for the 30 days trial period and waited until it ends, because I remember a friend's computer was upgraded from free accidentally and we were able to downgrade from the uninstall option to the free version without any complications.
So the trial ended and downgraded itself, nice, I wanted to open my AVG Free Antivirus and it pops up a big your protection is expired and I can't close it. It shows on every pages, I can't open Settings, reinstalled the whole application with avg remover and registry cleaning but it still has this issue. I deleted all AVG files and registry entries even manually, and installed the application again, but didn't solve the problem. The program runs in the background but I can't set it up or do anything because of this.

Here is a picture of the popup I'm talking about and in the background a system scan runs, just to show it's everywhere. There is no option to close it, I clicked everywhere but not even hidden X to close the popup, and I can't open even the settings or anything else, and this pops up even if I scan a file and the AVG opens with results. I never saw a problem like this, tried to find answers with Google, but I've found nothing and I wouldn't like to reinstall my Windows 7. :)
Additional information: Now the avguix.exe is crashed at least says AVG but the process is still running. The AVG Remover says it's crashed while try to uninstall AVG, but it deleted all files except the AV folder.
Anyone has a good idea for this? :)

Updates:
Guys you are awesome. I have mixed the two answers by Ranjani and it works now I see my AVG normally and can use it. At least now I'm smarter with this information, and I hope if anyone else will have the same problem, he will find this post and it will help him/her too. :)
Additional informations: I think the AVG wasn't even working 100% or the remover hasn't deleted the exceptions, because I was able to start Acrobat Reader, but now I need to add an exception for it to start, so it seems now it works and I hope I won't have any problem again. :)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. :)
