Reinstalled the program again after a clean uninstall using Revo Uninstaller. http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html All OK now.
In addition to my other posts (avgui.exe chewing up more & more memory) the email scanner says it's not working properly and I have a little warning triangle on the AVG icon in the system tray. The "Fix Now" button doesn't work, and that I need to upgrade to Pro. If this feature is no longer available on the free version, wouldn't it be easier to exclude it from the free version?
I have done what Tech Support asked, but still have the same problem of accessing scan results. If I can't tell if I have a virus or not then surely that negates the purpose of the software.
