Avg free expiry message

i have just run the avg removal tool and reinstalled avg basic. when i went to open avg. got same message your internet security has expired. with red boxes to purchase. i did click basic. can you tell me what to do please. should i try removing avg form my programmes i dont want to be left with no antivirus running

have removed avg  through add remove programmesand reinstalled. at moment it seems ok no banners yet have opened 3 times to check

this problem still persists. have posted another query . was working ok for a bit. then when i went to shut down pc got avg application  error message. pc then shut down. restarted pc, tried to open avg and the expiry banner is back. please help . been 5 days now. hav edone the sysinfo thing too. this appeared out of the blue on 4th sept. have uninstalled and reinstalled about 3 times now. problem still persists

on tuesday 4th sept i tried to open my free avg. got message that it had expired and banners asking for payment. i then reinstalled free avg. tonight a blue square appeared next to avg icon. same as on 4th sept. when i tried to open my free avg i got same message as on 4th sept.that it had expired. and im unable to get past the page asking for payment this has only been 3days. and was not a trial. please help with this.

Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces.

Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability)
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"

After which you can install AVG AntiVirus free from this link: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free.
