I have a big red "You are not protected" warning. It states "Computer protection is turned off". However, when I click "Fix now", nothing happens. Moreover, the Computer component on the dashboard is green. I think this means the red warning is an error, but am I missing something? And how do I get rid of it so I can see if I have any valid warnings?

I to have the same problem and i have done a repair twice now but the warning is still there i have even tried an uninstall and reinstall but nothing seems to get rid of it

I have the same problem.
Since a few days my AVG Internet Security shows me the following message:
"Protection is disabled" and an exclamation mark on a yellow background on the icon
In the taskbar.
I can click on the "repair now" button nothing changes and I can not do Disappear this message.

I checked the operation of the software and all modules are activated and running.
I uninstalled the software (in safe mode) with the AVG Clear software I found on your website.
I am running Windows 7 Pro.

I reinstalled everything and reconnected with username and password to my account "AVG MyAccount"
The software is recovering and working perfectly and the message "Protection is disabled" Disappears.
But as soon as I restart my PC, the message comes back and I can not delete it!

Have you find a solution for us ?
