Hello Mario,
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We would recommend answering on public post so that if any other customer facing the same issue can refer to it. However, if there is need of email communication, we will send it for sure.
Do you mean that the files on the Pen drive couldn't get scanned since it is blocked or the files present on your PC?
If you could provide the screenshot of the message that is shown by AVG, it will be easy for us to assist?
If you aren't sure on how to take a screenshot please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV and attach the image to this post.
Just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Also please let us know whether the files that aren't scanned are password protected files?
Thank you Alan. My settings were changed the way you are telling me. Since yesterday it is running in my computer a Microsoft tool to remove malicious software. it is a very long process, specially because my computer went to sleep at the same time I went last night. Until now it is reporting 5 files as being infected. I don't know if this will be succesfull, but any case I will be grateful about your help.
Since 2 days ago when doing a full scan of my computer, the final report presents a list of more than 200 files as not being examined because they are "blocked". It never happened this before and yes after connecting a pendrive coming from other computer (my mistake of not controlling it before). Do you know the way to find a solution?. Thank you. I will appreciate an answer to my email address which is mariofidelibus@fibertel.com.ar
I will try to put all the messages into English, as my usual language is Spanish and my AVG Free is also in Spanish. The problem appeared after connecting to my computer a pen drive not previously scanned (my mistake) and coming from other computer. The result of a full AVG scan of my computer actually says that no threat was found, but it also includes 240 notifications. Some of these notifications say Blocked file not analized and some others say that File contains macros and was repaired. Despite those "repairs" if I run a new scan, similar quantity of files with that kind of notifications are reported. It will be difficult for me to include all the images because they are like those I am telling you and 240 images are too much.
The files that are not scanned because of blocked were not password protected, at least not by me. All the previously daily AVG scans were completely clear, having no virus detection and also no notifications.
I have no problem on entering ito the community but, when having an answer, do I receive an email, so being aware to enter there once again?.
Thank you.
