AVG Free has locked down .EXE file

Hi, I downloaded and installed and ran AVG "Free" and it has erroneously tagged and quarantined an *.exe file of mine…now I cannot get it out of quarantine. I can click on the box to Choose that file from the quarantine list, and I can click on Restore from the menu in the lower-right-hand corner of the window, but NOTHING happens…not immediately, and not after a re-boot.
Also I must say that I ran PC TuneUP and it had gone through and deleted all my task-bar shortcuts and thoroughly corrupted my Registry (luckily, I was able to restore this through Windows Restore, but only after 12 hours of work and a sleepless night which resulted in a full day of lost time…I am a contractor, so I don't get paid when my computer goes down!)

Hello Mike,

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Regarding the PC TuneUp changes that you mentioned here, we have an option on PC TuneUp to restore the changes that was made by it.
The restore changes can be done by clicking on "Rescue Center" option on the dashboard of AVG PC TuneUp program.
This feature can only bring back the settings that was changed on your PC. The deleted files using the duplicate finder feature will not be able to retrieve.
Regarding the threat detection, please provide the screenshot of the it inorder to proceed further.
If you aren't sure on how to take a screenshot please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV and attach the image to this post.

Just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Hello Mike,
Thank you for providing the screenshot. We are checking this with our senior team and will get back to you. Your patience is much appreciated.

I should perhaps also note that I am using WIN7 Pro / 64 bit O/S. The O/S is fully up to date (that is, with Windows Updates).

Hello Mike,

I appreciate your patience in this matter.
We are in need of AVG log files for further analysis.
I have sent you the email instructions to collect and send us the log files.
If the email is not present in the inbox, do check it on spam and junk folders once.

Here is the image you requested…if I click on the RESTTORE option at this point, nothing useful happens, it just reverts back to "DELETE"
