I would like to thank the collaborators and inform them that without making any changes or updating AVG Free on both computers (Windows 10 and Windows 8) started to present since yesterday (25/9) the message "You are protected".
I confess that this worries me because no action was taken and the environment was protected again?
I'll keep an eye out for AVG actions, but I confess I'm not sure how I was before owning AVG Free as my protection.

AVG Free is displaying a red icon saying "You are unprotected" in Windows 8 and Windows 10 environment that I use. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled in Windows 10 and the situation remains the same. How should I proceed to regularize my protection, as I would not like to change antivirus, but I can not run out of protection. On the Windows 8 computer I still have AVG Secure VPN installed. Therefore, I request comor guidance. Thank you for updating the status.
An update of AVG Antivirus free should have fixed the issue.
If the "not protected" message appears again, do contact us immediately.

For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Have you uninstalled AVG using AVG Clear and remover tool but issue persists?
