Avg free installation gets stuck at 73%

Same problem with my avg ultimate paid version. It crashes and freezes. I have the same problem in two machines. Im requesting a refund, I dont want to try anymore

also i get this error message after a while: 

"0xA0010004: Wait operation timed out."

Once uninstalled, please download the offline installer (64 or 32 bit OS) links AVG AntiVirus FREE | AVG-installasjonsfiler and install AVG Free.

Hi,

I am experiencing the same problem and the above advice does not solve it for me. I have a machine with windows 10 home with the latest updates installed. Could you please advise if there is an alternative fix, or new version of AVG free that will install properly?
