AVG free internet security download windows 10 says unavailable

Please press Windows and R keys together on your keyboard to open RUN command.
In Run, type as "services.msc" without quotes and press Enter key.
In services, check whether "AVG service" is running.

Hi,

Norton internet security expired so I uninstalled it.  Downloaded AVG internet security 30 day trial.
All seems good have run scans plus AVG  PC tune up (also 30 day trial).  Am worried because
Windows 10 Apps and Features shows it is unavailable and no indication that downloads are using
up storage space.  Is AVG protecting me?
Simple language would be good - appreciate any help.
