When I try to downlaod the AVG free app for my Galaxy S4, Google Play wont recognise my AVG account.

Very frustrating considerating if I log in to AVG on my desk top and click to add my mobile, the invitation goes automatically to my email account registered with AVG.

Andrew, That's the correct link. Click on 'Yes' & you'll see 'Request Answer via Email'. When filling out your details choose Yes for the Question "Are you currently using any paid/trial AVG products?" even though you may be using the Free version.

I have said time and again, it is an AVG FREE product I am trying to download.

How can a FREE product be construed as a paid or trial product?

If I answer YES when the answer is clearly NO, then I will most likely be directed to the wrong area, given the run around or, be told that there is no support for AVG Free which I suspect is most likely the case.

Excuse my attention to detail but, if you really want people to access customer service features, they need to be more clearly accessible and less cryptic in their description.

Ok, I seem to be typing and no-one is actually reading what I am saying, rather just responding from a formatted Q and A list.
There is NO email support for AVG free download for Android. Your website advised me of this after following the advise (which I have said before) and there is no link to an email in any aspect of the contact us page. Just the same old run around in ever decreasing circles.

If you know of a magical door that somehow opens a pathway to an email contact process then please let me know because it is neither obvious or actual on this website.

Just in case my message is not clear, there is no provision for email support for AVG Free for Android mobile.

Aside from this irritating distraction, the key issue is that when I want to download AVG Free for my Galaxy S4, my hotmail address that is my AVG account log in is not recognised.

@ Craig Chapel, too right mate! Optus is as insufferable as Telstra and everytime NBN are fiddling in the street, I lose either my landline, internet or both and experience all manner of hell trying to rectify the issue. Customer service is a critically endangered species and as illusive as a drop bear on a $3 coin.

Andrew, could you please confirm us whether you have selected "Yes" on the technical support form link?
Also we request you to try opening the link on a different browser and if you still didn't get the Email option please do let us know.

Yes, there is no chat support for free users, for mobile products there is only email support available.
So to get the email support, we request you to select "YES" on the support form and fill in the details and select as "ANDROID" and then go ahead for submitting the issue in Email.
If you select Yes you will be getting the option for Email.

Your support page does not feature any EMAIL SELECTION OPTION.

If it did, I would have used it already!!!!!!!!!!
Instead of just blindly replying, go to the page from the link you provided me and see for yourself.

When I open it, THERE IS NO EMAIL SELECTION OPTION.

There is a separate team working sincerely for our mobile product issues.
So if customers facing any issues with mobile products we will ask the customers to submit their query in our support form  by choosing as Android so that they can get a prompt reply from our mobile team.

Nice to see this place has a different centre for everything and they find it Sooo… Hard to cross communicate with each other, kinda like Optus in Australia. And even more re-assuring to hear Gulam Shaik Mohammed`s answer to Fob you Off, gotta love Tech Support or Lack Of… :wink:
