Hi Jim,
I have the same issue and like you I had to perform a factory reset on my Samsung Galaxy Tab, with Android 4.4.2. Unfortunately, I can't get an answer from anyone so am reluctant to use my Tab without a decent AV. Did you have any luck in rectifying your problem?
I've used AVG free version on my Galaxy Tab 7 running Kit Kat 4.4.2 for years. Now that I reset and lost all data, I can't download AVG due to incompatibility with the device. Where can I get an older compatible version?
Hi Jim,
I am sorry to inform you that AVG Antivirus for Android is only compatible for Android version 5 and above.
Thank you for your understanding.
