AVG Free Scheduling fails to save

Paul,
Let me help you with this. May I know whether the last computer scan status is not updated in your AVG Free Antivirus? If so, please be informed that AVG user interface will show the “Last computer scan” status only if you press "Scan Computer" floating button and not for any other scans. If you are unable to create scheduled scan, then please let me know whether you ticked the 'Schedule this scan' box in the scheduling page of AVG Free Antivirus. If not, please try to follow the steps again and if the issue persists, please share the screenshot of scan setting window(press the gear wheel icon next to 'Scan computer') to assist further.

I scheduled daily scans two months ago and just found out that nothing happened in the meantime. I am on the latest version 18.4.3056. Scan Parameters does allow me to enter Scan Name and allows me to enter Daily Schedule but clicking OK and then going back to view shows nothing scheduled and no Scan Name. What am I missing. I am using this help page: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-start-or-plan-a-computer-scan&supportType=home

Paul, glad to hear that your issue has been resolved. Please open AVG Anti Virus, click on Menu -> About -> Submit feedback. You can share your valuable feedback about the user interface.

OK, I think I figured out what was going on. I was clicking on OK after selecting a Scan Name but should have been clicking directing on Scheduling. I had no idea that, while trying to figure things out, I was creating a bunch of scheduled scans until I happened upon the list of scans (it kept getting longer until I suddenly realized it was there). A helpful addition would be to have the Scan Name show up in large font in the scheduling page which makes no reference as to which scan one is scheduling. As it is, the list of scans is not easily seen at the bottom of the Other Scans page, especially if there are only one or two. It is very small font with no header saying something like "EXISTING SCHEDULED SCANS."
