Hi Rob,

Thanks for the screenshot. Firstly I'd recommend you upgrading your Windows 10 to the latest build and see if the issue persists there. If there is no change then please send us AVG log files using this http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe tool.

Hi,

I have just tried to open AVG Free to run a scan of my computer but it seems like the programme has been blocked. the dashboard panel but it is overlaid with a Grey Band which has an image of what appears to be a flame symbol inside an octagon. I am assuming it is something to do with a firewall but do not know how to remove it or allow AVG through. I have been using AVG for several years without a problem and this is the 1st time this has appeared. I am running Windows 10 build 10240.

Does anyone have any suggestiions as to why this has happened and how I remove/work around the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply, I have tried to repair the problem using the uninstall/repair option but I am still getting the same problem. I have inserted a screenshot below
