Rob, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Hi,

When I open up AVG and click on Antivirus Free and click on Menu > Settings, a big black box appears in the middle third of the screen & going from top to bottom. If I move my mouse over it, I see the swirly mouse cursor. If I click into the box, it turns white and eventually I start seeing "AVG Antivirus is not responding". Choosing "Close the program" has absolutely no effect.

I have completely uninstalled both AVG and AVG Protection and rebooted, but after reinstalling, the same thing happens. It is driving me crazy! Any ideas?
