Finally got to try this today with the little AVG Free downloader package. Worked perfectly.
Still need to try it with the full Free installers since that's what we normally use on customer PCs, but I assume it will work properly.
Today I downloaded the latest full installers ("AVG_Antivirus_Free_x86_694.exe" and the matching 64 bit one), adjusted the script to the new names, and discovered these don't install silently using the same old command lines we have used for years. It just popped up the GUI with nothing skipped.
Can someone tell me what the new command line options are? We'd be doing dozens of these some months, and sometimes it needs to be done by work-experience kids or non-tech staff.
