I have the same problem as Len. Started an AVG Free scan and it has been stuck at 1 % for the last couple of days. Can not stop the scan even by using the task manager. This has really slowed down my laptop on websites using Flash.
Anyone know if uninstalling AVG free and them reinstalling it anew would a prudent thing to do?
