AVG Free version telling me client licence will expire in 30 days?

I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
I might have upgraded to AVG free Trial that is the reason why you have received this message. If you wish you can use it for 30 days. After that please uninstall it and reinstall your AVG Antivirus Free version using the article  http://avgread.me/1cvJ6DX .
To uninstall please follow the below steps:
1. Please click on the link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download the AVG Remover tool.  
2.Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3.Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.

Just updated my AVG Free Basic and now AVG is informing me that my Client Licence will expire in 30 days.  I'm sure I've never had to renew a "Client Licence" before.  Has something changed?
