My AVG free version takes a very long time to load during startup. It has been this way since the beginning. I don't have a virus, so don't even go there. I am looking for an anti-virus that can load fairly quickly. I have enough time to go to the bathroom before AVG appears in my system tray. I can't get on line without AVG loading. Before I got AVG I had an open source anti-virus that loaded very quickly, but it was shutting down my all in one printer software because it thought it had it was infected so I removed the program.
