Hi. I was doing a restore on a Windows PC - 8.1 - AVG stopped it from restoring so I had to uninstall the current version. Then later I downloaded the newest version and it would not install, saying AVG does not support my operating system!?
I tried several times, then went to OLD downloads of earlier version but it kept saying I had a version running that needed to be UNinstalled. So now I have uninstalled ALL old versions and tried downloading a new one again but it says it doesn't support my system and just stops itself???
I have used AVG for years with no problems.
Any hints???
Toshiba Laptop - Windows 8.1, plenty of RAM etc.
