I had the free version but upgraded due to continuous prompting. however once upgraded, my computer went into BSOD mode every time it started. Attempts by AVG to sort failed, blaming the operating system. had Microsoft on chat for 4 hours trying to find a fault with software, it was only when I mentioned I had a third party anti virus (AVG) that they realized the issue. Once AVG was uninstalled my computer functionality returned to normal. I do not know why AVG anti virus pro interfers with the operating system?
