AVG giving Threat Secured pop-ups for almost every website

I've been using AVG on my PC for years now with little issues. As of today though, AVG issues Threat Secured pop-ups for almost every website I visit, even though I've visited them for years and they never gave me grief. This includes my Gmail-account, where it will issue pop-ups continuously while I'm logged in (as many as 14 in one minute!), labeling Gmail as 'infected with URL:Phishing'.
I refuse to believe that the majority of the websites I've visited for years are suddenly infected with phishing, so it must be a flaw in AVG. Any idea what causes this and how I get rid of it?
