Could you verify whether the Hacker attacks component has been turned off?
If so, please perform a reinstall using the AVG Clear tool and check for the issue again.

Run the file and when you get AVG clear window loading, you will get a prompt with Yes and No option. Click on "No" and then select "Uninstall" to proceed with the removal.
Restart the PC when the prompt appears and then install the program https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Install-AVG-Internet-Security

Why is my AVG Hacker Attack function always OFF at login and requires me to Turn It On / Activate ??
Previously it was always activated at startup. Very frustrating
