I've been using AVG for many years.
Today for the first time ever AVG began blocking my email. The following message is displayed by AVG 'AVG has blocked access to mailserverurl (IMAP) because one of the issuers of the server certificate has expired'.
I've included a screen grab of this error message below.
The version of AVG in use is 18.8.3071.
I have attempted to export the email protection certificate from the AVG settings and then import into Thunderbird, but that did not resolve the issue. I followed your instructions for this here - https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=AVG-Troubleshoot-invalid-email-certificate
I then also repaired my AVG installation, but that also did not resolve the issue. I followed your instructions for this here - https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Repair-AVG-Antivirus
Greetings,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please clarify whether you use Windows XP as the operating system on your computer & let us know whether you're able to access web mail via browser instead of Thunderbird.

We appreciate your effort.
We do not find any paid/trial product of AVG under your account.
Could you please confirm whether you're using paid AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus Free to proceed further?
Keep us informed.
Are you not willing to help people who are not using the paid version of your product?
I'm using the free version.
Any help on how I can resolve this error with your product would be much appreciated.
