OK, I did do that and it's like there is something wrong with the download. When I try to run it, it just flashes blue for a split second or so like it's trying to run but won't. I downloaded the uninstaller at least three times and the same thing happens. I did go and delete the repeats, but none of them worked. Suggestions?

Hello Cheri. I have sent you an email regarding this case to assist you further. Please check the email and you will be good to go. Thank you. Kishore, AVG Customer Care.
Hi, I recently received a notice from AVG that it blocked a trojan, I clicked on remove, and it showed that it did, but AVG icon disappeared and it shows that it's turned off in the security center, which will not let me turn it on. Can you help with this?
Thanks,
Cheri
- Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.
As per our record you have purchased the license for AVG Internet Security. To download, install and activate AVG Internet Security program please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://bit.ly/1DXPL5z. Once it is successfully installed please do a whole computer scan.
The remover tool doesn't download properly, it simply flashes a quick blue when I try to run it. Also, I did try to uninstall it manually, but it's like it's not there when I click on the icon in programs. The uninstall works for other programs that I checked, just not for AVG. I did then try to download AVG, but it doesn't download either. I don't know what's going on. Ideas?

Hello Cheri. Sorry to hear that. Please go to control panel and look in the programs and features list for AVG program installed. Let us know if it is present.
The remover tool will completely remove your AVG programs installed and restart your PC. Did you try installing your AVG program again?
