AVG has recently started blocking emails sent from my billing program

AVG has recently started blocking emails sent from my billing program When I disable the email shield the emails are sent.
What is the cause and how do i fix it My tech says its definately AVGs fault

Please make sure that you are in the latest version of AVG Antivirus free/AVG Internet Security. Let's try the below troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

1. Turn off AVG Self Protection - Open AVG AVG ntiVirus free/ Internet Security program interface. Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Troubleshooting" and uncheck the box that says "Enable AVG Self Protection Module". Click Ok.
2. Turn off Email shield component - Open AVG Internet Security program interface. Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components", use the slider icon to turn off the component.
3. Go to C:WindowsTEMP and delete avg folder (change read/write permissions if needed). If we try opening the file, we will be asked to allow the permission.
4. Turn on Email shield in AVG Internet Security.
5. Check the situation with the email.
6. If the issue is fixed, turn ON AVG Self Protection module.
7. Check the situation again.

I have followed your instuctions but I cant find C:WindowsTEMP avgfolder

The billing program sends emails through outlook through my usual mail sever.
