AVG has stopped working

Hello Rick,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Are you using a latest version(2016) of your AVG program? To resolve the issue, did you try uninstalling your AVG program using AVG Remover tool and then reinstalled your AVG program? Thank you.

Error.  Missing document access permission. Connection lost.  As a result of this, no protection what so ever. It can not update virus definitions.
