Well this is embarrassing! We've run into a problem. Please restart your computer and try again. If the problem persists try to reinstall the app or contact Customer Care team for help. 
So I have restarted my PC and tried to reinstall the app.
Where is Customer Care?
A piece of software called somethingByte installed itself and I had to uninstall. AVG hasn't been the same since.
Any answers? Please?
