AVG icon has disappeared from Notification Tray

Hello Terri,
Thank you for contacting us here. We request you to run repair installation of your AVG and check if that helps.
To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:
Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG Protection in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.

I too have the problem of the AVG icon disappearing from the Notification tray, after the most recent AVG update applied…   Scans are running normally, but I would really like to have that icon back for quick check purposes

Followed Repair process, rebooted, AVG Protections updated and icon came back!  :)  Thank you!
