avg identity protection is currently using up to 60% of my memory.
Have trawled uncountable forums in search of a solution but to no avail (this seems to be a common problem for Windows users).
It makes my laptop almost unusable and I am really starting to regret having purchased a two year licence.
AVG worked perfectly well as a free solution, and I recommended it to everyone who asked about a solid anti-virus.
I can't recommend it any more.
Apologies for letting off steam but this bloody program is now the bane of my life…
Any suggestions (apart from throwing the laptop out of the window)?
