I certainly understand this must be a disruption. I would request you to download and run AVG Remover tool as suggested in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product .
Choose "Run anyway" if the tool does not detect any AVG apps when you run it. Please also provide us with a screenshot ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot ) of the error message that you are receiving. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

this i what happens when i try to update my windows and get the following message: "AVG Identity Theft Protection 9 not compatible with Windows 10" i try to "manually uninstall" but i can't find it in my Control Panel Unintall Program list, i just need hlp resolving this problem, please
