My AVG Ultimate program is currently in passive mode as a result of my last update from AVG on October 3, 2017. AVG indicates that Defender pro antivirus program is running and needs to be deleted.
Defender Pro was deleted over five years ago. I checked control Panel and nothing regarding Defender Pro is there. I used Regedit and checked LOCAL_Machine\software|Microsoft\windows\current version and no defender pro. I downloaded the free revo uninstaller program and it could not find defender pro.
I thought about a system restore, but my only restore point is after AVG went into passive mode.
