For the past two days I have been trying to figure out why my adobe applications were not launching.  I finally found an article that explains what AVG is doing. AVG is inserting some blocking entries into the Adobe programs.  The article says I need to delete all the AVG registry entries from the Adobe programs.  Can someone tell me how to do this?
