Dougall, Please note that an AVG 64 bit installation contains both 32 & 64 bit files. This is standard practice. All drivers and processes that scans your computer are 64 bit x64 files, only UI and some non essential parts are 32 bit x86 files.

I have a quiestion about 64 and 32 bit computers. My computer is 64 bit but when I go to download AVG protection it downloads fro 32 bit. Does that matter? or do I need the 64 bit download? If I need the 64 bit download how do I do that? As the download keeps doing the 32 bit. Hope that makes sense. Thanks
