So I had contact with a couple of AVG's employees and technicians. They promised me to get back to me as soon as posible. Senior technicians are sorting out the problem. Haven't heard from them since yesterday. Almost 24 hours ago and still no sign of a fix. The only thing I get is apologies. Getting a bit tired of this.
Someone else has the same problem as I do? I paid for a license, so i want to use AVG, simple as that. I have no virus protection now, so it's pretty urgent.
Joris, Did you download & run the McAfee total removal tool… (http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe)?.

I've just bought this new laptop: HP Envy (Windows 10). Originally it had McAfee installed on it, but I removed it and dowloaded AVG. I also have a AVG license code.
But whenever I try to install AVG I keep getting this: Error code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished.
I don't know what to do; I tried all your suggested solutions (Removal tools, RestAccess), but nothing worked so far. Can you guys please help me with this frustrating problem?
