I was getting a red cross through the Icon in the system tray. I have tried to reinstall but it abort without messages. I already tried to execute these tools:
AVG_Remover.exe
AVG_Clear.exe
AVG_ResetAccess.exe
I also tried both versions online and offline:
avg_antivirus_free_setup.exe
avg_antivirus_free_setup_offline.exe
Always the installation just quit without any error message or message.
Any idea what could be happening?
After repeat once again the execution of these tools:
AVG_Remover.exe
AVG_Clear.exe
and then
avg_antivirus_free_setup_offline.exe
it finally works.

There are no avg process running in the background. I'm checking the task manager.
I wait several minutes and no error messages at all. After the installation it just died.
I can see the folder C:\Program Files\AVG\Antivirus with (seems) all the files. Are there any program I should try/test there?

Do you have any other security software installed on your computer?
If yes, please uninstall the same and check if you are able to install AVG.
