AVG Interface won't open

I am running a registered version of AVG Framework (Product Version 1.122.2.33741), on Windows 10 and for a while now I cannot access its user interface. I am also running AVG ZEN 2016 and I also can't access its UX.

i have this same issue. running the repair for AVG Zen fixes the problem… UI opens, demands a restart, turn on any protection that is off… THEN! restart or come back to it the next day and the UI wont open again. when i click on the tray icon the button to switch it on or off does nothing and clicking "open" just gives me the "well, this is embarrassing" message (of death)". repeated this many times now.

I am sorry to hear this. Please follow below instructions to run AVG clear tool and remover tool to remove AVG traces completely from your PC:
1. Use the link https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe to run the AVG Clear tool.
2. Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
3. Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
4. Select the installed version of AVG and also check the box 'Uninstall AVG Zen'. Then click Uninstall, and Restart computer.

To reinstall AVG Internet Security unlimited, please use this article http://avgread.me/1FKGRZI .
