Please follow the below steps and let us know the status.
Open the AVG Internet Security > Click on the Web & Email tile > Enhanced Firewall > Network profiles > make sure that all of the network connections (wireless network, Lan, VPN, printers, etc.,) are selected as a private connection "I trust this network".
Please follow the steps mentioned in this article to configure the system rules and enable all the permission in a private connection.
Once it done, get back to the home screen and go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings.
Select Full protection ▸ Remote Access Shield in the left panel.
Tick the box next to Block all connections except the following.
Under Block all connections except the following, click Add.
Enter a trusted IP address or IP range, then click Allow. Added connections appear below the Add button.

Yesterday i got help 'on distance' from an avg-tech support with my avg configuration. Sadly today the problem still persist. I reinstalled AVg to no avail. ill wait for an avg system update,.
Hi, regularly my AVG internet protection blocks me from acces to the internet, then i have to shut down protection to get internet acces again. I did not change any settings in AVG whatsover, and when i try to turn on AVG protection it hangs and does not respond in any way. to ''fix'' this i have to reboot the system… this happened a few weeks now so i think AVG is at fault
any thoughts? thanks in advance.

Yes, like i stated in my first post, when i canot acces the internet, i disable internet protection from AVG. So when i turned that off, i have internet acces again. But when i want to enable internet security again it hangs, i waited for a long time for avg to turn security om again but that fails. The only solution for that is when i restart my computer. So i think its a programming error from AVG themselves. Today however, i do not find any problems.
Yesterday i re-installed windows 10 pro, seems like quite some issues have been resolved now, everything is ok as it should be
