Hello,recently I've had issues with my VPN and I have been unable to watch the BBC iplayer. After seaking with customer support from NordVPN, we found out that the problem was the AVG antivirus, as after I had uninstalled AVG, my VPN worked perfectly. I asked if this meant that I would have to continue without antivirus, I was told that I would probably have to whitewall some files, particularly this file C:\Program Files (x86)\NordVPN. Can you please give me some suggestions, or tell me if this is a common issue? Thank you!

Please confirm whether you are using a free version of AVG or paid version.
If paid version, did you try to activate the AVG Internet Security program?
Also request you to add exceptions of BBC iplayer and check using the following steps:
Open AVG Internet Security and go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings.
Select General ▸ Exceptions, then click Add exception.
Add an exception in one of the following ways: Type the specific file/folder path or URL into the text box, then click Add exception.
