AVG Internet Security 2017 (Paid) Blocking All Scripts and Clicks

Hello, I have been a customer of AVG for 9 years and never had a problem, however, AVG decided on it's own to install AVG Internet Security 2017 (paid version) over my AVG Protection (paid version), but I got a unexpected surprise with the interface change, you see I have AVG installed on a Asus VivoTab 8 (M81C) with it's original windows 8 configuration, and I still use the internet explore app from metro, I say this, because nothing works on it no more, except maybe google, and even this page comes back as it saying it has a bad certificate and warns not to enter, heck a lot of the times no links load when I click on stuff, youtube thumbnails come back as blank (with the broken image icon) with some parts of the website saying bad script or certificate, no youtube videos work and I can confirm this as on my mac they work fine, I write this message on my macbook as I deleted AVG off of the tablet for now (yes everything works again after AVG removal) and want to not use it much until this gets resolved. everything worked perfectly before the forced upgrade, my question is what do you think went wrong? should I reinstall AVG internet security?

Hi Joe,
I can understand how you feel, as I would feel the same in your position, but please know that I will do everything to help you with this problem.
Please reinstall the AVG Internet Security and I suggest you to change the firewall network profile from "Public" to "Private" and check if that fixes the issue. To change this settings, please open the AVG Internet Security and click on Menu>Settings>Components>Firewall>Customize>Network profile.

Also, please Enable all the System Rules under Menu>Settings>Components>Firewall>Customize>Policies.

okay this works, thank you, but I have a question, what did this do? what I mean is, I have another computer (a laptop) that is still not updated to avg internet security 2017 yet, but that computer uses FTP protocals to send data to my website using a webdesk scrpt and microsoft explorer (not internet explorer), will this setting affect that computer's ablitiy to upload data since this solution is messing with the firewall? thank you for the solution,I can use my tablet again, much thanks.
